We are not an investment company, and we don’t invest third party funds. We are experienced restructuring and turnaround specialists putting our own money where our mouths are!
This allows us to take a collaborative, non-time limited view of our acquisitions.
We build strong relationships with the management teams we invest in and incentivise those management teams in a manner which means we are all rewarded if the recovery is successful.
Above all else we are active investors, we roll up our sleeves, we take board roles, and are always supportive.
We appreciate that insolvency happens
for many reasons, not all of the them the fault of the incumbent management team. If you have a good core business that’s had a shock or lost its way, then we can help either before or after a formal insolvency event.

want to re-structure or exit the relationship and the business needs ongoing or extra funds, we are
perfectly placed to support the
business with capital and expertise.
All too often a radical change of operations is required to protect, or enhance shareholder value. Be it a divestment of an under-performing subsidiary, or a new way of working on the shop floor, we can provide the skills and capital required to maximise the outcome.
We also acquire businesses in situations such as shareholder disputes, succession issues, and alike. We are flexible in our thinking and acquisition criteria, and
respond quickly to any approach.
Steve is a specialist in business recovery with over 30 years of global senior leadership experience. He is a Fellow of the Institute for Turnaround, and has been a Board Member since 2016
Chris is a commercially focused Chartered Accountant (ICAEW). Having qualified in audit, Chris moved into advisory specialising in restructuring and performance improvement assignments. Since his time in practice, Chris has held senior management positions within Private Equity backed businesses.
Mark is a financial restructuring expert and a former Insolvency Practitioner. He has held senior positions at top Accounting firms and is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants.
Gareth joined in 2020 in a business development capacity to help with identifying and assessing potential acquisition targets. Gareth brings sales and marketing experience from the FMCG sector.
OXYGEN EXECUTIVE NETWORK
Through the Oxygen Executive Network (“OEN”), we support industry experts with funds and expertise to acquire businesses within their sector specialism.
Typically, the OEN member approaches us prior to identifying a specific acquisition target. Assuming they meet our qualifying criteria, we enter into an agreement whereby the OEN member receives a minority stake in the acquisition target for no cost and a role on the board of the acquired business post-completion.
We work closely with OEN members to help them identify and assess potential acquisition targets. The OEN allows industry specialists to take a step into business ownership without the need for investment from personal funds.

Ib is a leading industry expert in the manufacturing sector having built and led various businesses over a number of years. Ib is a graduate of Copenhagen Business School, studying Economics and Marketing. Ib has held Directorships in a variety of companies, from multi-nationals to start ups. He also has experience of managing turnaround projects with exit strategies. His latest venture has been a Managing Partner in a £100m turnover packaging company.
Peter is a board level business improvement specialist focused on the manufacturing and life sciences sectors. Having delivered numerous tactical and strategic improvement programmes and advisory for both private equity, family owned and corporate businesses. With an eye for detail and the ability to create focus and direction where ambiguity exists, Peter is keen to work with businesses requiring a fresh approach and direction for profitable growth
John is among the most experienced interim managers in the UK. Working within troubled businesses, he tailors and implements financial improvement strategies for Boards that find themselves operating in situations beyond their know-how. John’s track record is exceptionally broad and covers many industries, sectors and situations. He is a PWC alumnus and has an MBA (with Distinction) from Warwick Business School.
