Oxygen Partners is a private investment firm focused on acquiring and growing small and medium-sized, owner-managed businesses across the UK, with a particular emphasis on the manufacturing and engineering sectors. Our strategy is to build a group of complementary businesses, driving long-term value through operational improvement and strategic alignment.

Founded in 2017, Oxygen Partners began with a focus on acquiring and revitalising underperforming SMEs. Since then, our approach has evolved to include partnering with both underperforming and well-performing businesses, as well as selective investments in property assets.

The firm is led by Steve Benger and Gareth Benger, who bring extensive experience in owning, operating, and advising businesses. This hands-on background underpins a practical and collaborative approach when working with management teams.

We are not a traditional investment fund - we invest our own capital and take a long-term view. This allows us to prioritise sustainable, cash-generative growth over short-term exits. Where appropriate, we can raise additional finance to support growth and acquisitions.

Our role is to support management teams as strategic partners, not executive operators. We work alongside ambitious leaders as active non-executive board members, offering guidance, flexibility in deal structuring, and a collaborative approach to ensure outcomes that work for all parties.
